Harry has Made it Special for several customers over the past few months:-
Mr & Mrs B bought a pre-owned Maserati from us through videos, phone calls and emails. Harry discovered whilst getting to know the customers, that the car purchase was part of their anniversary and that they would be travelling up to stay overnight and collect the car in the morning.
Harry recommended one of Scotland’s finest hotels, The Balmoral, after asking if they had a budget in mind. Mr B then booked the Balmoral. Harry purchased a bottle of Champagne and took it to the hotel’s reception personally and requested that this was dropped off for Mr & Mrs B during their stay.
They were both overjoyed the morning they collected their car and have since referred a friend of theirs to us with whom we are currently working. Mr & Mrs B also left a 5-star review on our google page following this experience.
The second customer was a Mr G. Once again, the customer was staying over and Harry had built enough of a relationship to establish where he was staying. Harry took a leap of faith and organised a bottle of Champagne for Mr G. This was done prior to Mr G committing to buy the car and had mentioned that if it wasn’t for the level of “over and above the norm” service, he would never have bought the Levante.
Finally, Harry was shopping at a nearby store on a Sunday (we are closed on a Sunday) and upon leaving, he saw a customer looking at our stock. Harry took it upon himself to talk to the customer and spent a bit of time with him, walking him through the range and then arranged an appointment for the Tuesday. Once again, this led to the sale of a Levante and the customer said the reason he came on the Sunday was that he wanted the peace. If it wasn’t for Harry, he most likely would not have enquired (customers words).
Harry has shown time after time he goes above and beyond to ensure he Makes it Special for each and every single customer.
We took a call late in the afternoon from a customer who had promised a friend’s son that he would take him to his school prom. He had to leave at 5:30 to make his way to the event and whilst getting the car ready for the trip he found that the battery had gone flat!
He called us and explained that he was part of the RAC but they were unable to help on time. Matt was in the office at the time and heard the phone call. Without hesitation, he offered to go and help get the customer on the way.
When Matt arrived at the customer’s house the car that we had been told was flat was not the car that we went prepared for. Matt had taken tools for a 458 but the customer had purchased a new Portofino and this is the car that had the issue. Using his own initiative Matt left the customer’s house and drove home to collect his own jump pack. Matt returned and got the customer on the way to the prom just in time.
On top of this, Matt offered to drive back with the relevant tools over the weekend in his own time to fit the battery in the customer’s garage.
The customer is over the moon with the level of service that Matt provided.
This customer was on a journey of restoring an old Ferrari 412i over a 4 year period and Rob had supported him well in realising his dream of being able to get the vehicle back on the road. The customer sent a video of his proud moment and a thank you note to Rob.
To the amazing Maranello team, and Rob in particular who helped me put together the parts for this 1987 unloved beauty. After 4 years, and thanks to Maranello, this 412i attached in the video started for the first time since 1995. Looking forward to doing more business with you guys, stay safe!
Our Service Manager received a call from Mrs F, who has not only been a loyal customer to Porsche Centre Glasgow but has also become a good friend of the Centre throughout the years.
Mrs F called the Centre in quite a panic as her car would not start and the car is essential to Mrs F to enable her to attend regular hospital appointments throughout her cancer treatment. Our Service Manager reassured Mrs F he would help and to stay calm. With a fully booked workshop and service department, our driver Alistair offered to assist. Alistair drove to Mrs F’s house to look at the car and assess if it was something he was able to help with. Fortunately, the problem was with the battery which Alistair was able to jump start and this got Mrs F back on the road. Not only did Alistair help with the problem but he also took a Porsche goodie bag to reassure Mrs F it was his pleasure to help out.
Mrs F could not thank the Centre and Alistair enough for helping on such short notice and being there for her when she really needed it.
We had one Valeter off recovering from COVID and then unexpectedly the other two Valeters on site felt unwell so had to be sent for a PCR test.
Glenn, who was the fourth Valeter, was away and cut short his holiday to come in and get the cars prepared for the end of the month and really saved the day. What a hero!
